Six Feet Apart

Touch. It's a seemingly simple concept. So simple that most of us take it for granted, but what happens when that simplicity is taken away? Something that would normally rarely cross our minds becomes the most precious commodity. Whether we admit it or not, we all need human connection, touch, love. We crave it, unconsciously seek it, and when we do have it, we don't appreciate it nearly enough.

Personally, I've always placed my moments of human connection at high value. Long distance relationships, friendships and constant travelling will do that. They each teach you, in their own way, that every moment you share beside someone is a precious one. You learn that, in life, there will never be enough time.

So for that day when the sun does finally rise again over humanity's health and we all get to embrace our loved ones again, from far and wide, remember that our ability to feel the people we love is a gift, not a

given. Don't take it for granted.
